About Me

I have an unconventional professional background, which gives me a unique perspective. My experience in asset management and marketing inspired me to build a boutique marketing practice to serve the alternative asset management industry.

I spent much of my career in asset management. In my early years I was among the first employees at a new private equity firm, which has since gone global and enjoyed great success. I learned a lot about the alternatives industry starting my career during the Great Financial Crisis. Later on, I was fortunate to spend 10 years working on the client relations team for a global asset management firm where I gained a tremendous amount of experience across a varety of functions: client relations, product management, marketing, business development, and even public company investor relations. Through my experiences, I realized the value of having access to new ideas and approaches when it comes to fund marketing, but few service providers in the space actually understand the asset management industry. I found myself serving as a critical counterpart with our outsourced service providers, helping them to understand our business and articulate our needs, so they could deliver us the high level of service the industry demands. I realized that with my professional experience, combined with my natural talent and passion for marketing, I could offer a valuable service assembling marketing programs for financial services firms operating in an increasingly competitive environment.
